Just got back from Glastonbury.
Very impressed by the work of Trash City and Mutoid Waste. Spent the majority of my time there really.
Good thing the weather held out too.

Just finished painting up a few boards for an installation for Glastonbury next week.
It's called the Body Shop where you can get telescopic limbs, brain implants and cybernetic upgrades all hosted by your resident mad scientists.
It's all inside the Shangrila field.
There's all the sculptures and techno panels to add so will post them up as soon as I get the photos.

Finally got photos of some spray painting I did a while ago. One side is still there but the other isn't, due to it being frequently pissed on. When I get around to redoing it I've been told to coarsely sand the surface and then, after painting, cover with Laquer. Need to do some experiementing though.

I went to this exhibition a few weeks before Christmas but never got around to posting up the photos, better late than never though.
Amazing pieces of graffiti but unfortunelty no idea on the artist. The sculptures were wicked too, loads of inspiration there. It's finished now but hopefully they'll be another one later this year.

Recydrate the West Festival

After a week of mayhem helping setting up this festival up in Hay-on-Wye, it was all worth it in the end and was a great success. Weather was on our side too which makes a change.
Here's a few photos of the festival in full swing with a fair bit of the artwork I did.

Still trying to get to grips with all the digital arts malarky. Seems it's a really wrist saver having a tablet rather than drawing with a mouse. They say you should always try to draw from life, that's obviously a problem if you're sat between four walls all the time.

I've just been mailed a link to another friend's blog. I've always wondered what one was about as I'd seen loads about but never got around to setting up.
As a freelance illustrator it seemed only best to get the ball rolling as I'd also read that these blogs can be good for publicity too.
I've had my site, theporg.org, for some years now. It's been a great asset in visual communication with clients but not very useful when trying to show the progression of my work. Hopefully though this blog will change that.
